EVO's Review in Issue 108

I have just read through the published article for the first time and with a sigh of reflief I am pretty confident it will silence much of the negativity.

Richard has managed to capture our encounter with the M3 far better than I ever could, and presents it with an accuracy and humility that has become his trademark.

He also puts our comparison with the RS4 in much better context than I've seen in other magazine reviews.

It's a nicely balanced article with plenty of great action shots and (thankfully) no pictures of my mug managed to sneak through..

The video we produced should appear on the EVO website soon (but its in the hands of Dennis publishing, so I can't guarantee how soon).

The published magazine should be in the shops (and with subscribers) within the next 5 days, so let me know what you think.

It's entirely possible that Steve might have done some PR here, BUT I doubt that people would be excited about the issue if Steve had not established his credibility by posting level headed comments, getting his facts/details right, and backing up his conclusions with well articulated observations. If you have an excellent product like EVO (and that's a well established fact independent of this forum and the M3 reviews), there is nothing wrong with making sure that people know it's out there. In other words, it is not simply a matter of people wanting to buy EVO because they think the article will be positive, and that's what they want to hear if that's what you mean. So, give the guy a break.

On the Audi forum somebody already got it. Apparently the M3 is said to be a little more exciting, but it's hardly a walkover. They are basically neck and neck.
