I'm surprised no one has steered the OP away from Miesterschaft given the history...

The fact of the matter is, the Miesterschaft exhaust systems sound hot. If you don't think it does, then go for a different exhaust. I love the way it sounds and like another post said prior, the M3 cabin is pretty sound tight so I really don't notice the exhaust being too loud at all. As for someone saying that there is a lot of drone, I'm not sure whose car you have been in but, my exhaust has little to no drone and other cars I've been in with meisterschaft are the same way.

The quality of the exhaust is great as well. If the quality is great and the sound is what you like, go for it.

I bought my Exhaust directly from GThaus. It was great dealing with them and their follow up has been great. I'm not sure what happened in the past but I'm not worried about the past. I bought a product that Im extremely happy with and know that the vendor stands behind their product in case anything does happen.

I would recommend getting the SR pipe (Don't they come included with the exhaust now?). I went that route and it was an easy complete bolt on system, even on my E93 with the cross beams. I don't know about the other guys who have the Meist on their rides but I def noticed a difference in power after putting it on.

Good luck with your choice but I highly recommend the Meisterschaft...

From what I've read, those are just split tips and are part of the design. In other words, they are not adjustable. I do not understand their actual function, if any, but there they are all the same.

They are just split tips. No adjustability.

Have you considered the Meisterschaft High Performance version rather than the GT?
The HP seems more daily driver type of exhaust than the GT.
If you are going to have clients in and around your car, just keep it stock.
