i just used a pair of needle-nose pliers that have a 90degree bend to push on that one tab pain-in-the-ass tab. it worked great. total time was around 5 minutes to swap out the grills.

yea it doesn't take long, but it gets really annoying when trying to get your hand down there

Was actually very easy after reading the DIY post. Just wanted to add that these forums are awesome in regards to info on the m3. Been getting so many parts and ideas from everyone's pics and feedback from other posts. Keep up the good work. I will post pics of my car when everything is delivered and installed. Can't wait till then.

I have found the best method to be release the top 3 clips (I use a screwdriver to push the clip middle down) then go for the outside clip with a long screwdriver working to release the clip pulling at the bottom side of the grill from the front. once the clip is released its easy. The problem is the flexibility of the body work around this clip. You think it's relased and it's not !

Bottom two are fingers and 30 seconds later your grill is off
