You do realize that there aren't experiments done to determine that smoking causes cancer either, right? They use the same observatory study in both cases because telling someone to smoke or exposing people to second hand smoke on purpose is unethical. It's very easy to determine the difference between second hand smoke and general pollution because one contains nicotine and one doesn't. Your response lacks logic. Second hand smoke DOES present a serious health risk.
