HRE R43 vs P43- thoughts please

I'm considering the purchase of HRE wheels for my E92 M3. The contenders are 18" R43 and 19" P43. I realize the R43 is more track oriented and the tire selection is greater and tire pricing is less expensive in the 18" size. I can appreciate the aesthetics and function of both wheels and their respective strengths. I'd like to hear your guys' thoughts...

I currently have 18" TE37SLs with PSS which I found to be a vast improvement over the ZCP setup with OEM rubber.

Edit: I just got off the phone with TireRack who informed me of the limited size fitment options. I have a couple requests out to the M3Post vendors as well. I was under the impression that HRE did custom fitments (ie. offsets.) I may be off the mark.

You have TE37SL already why would you consider R43?

If I were you I would get the P43SC lol.

I got R40 I regreted why I didn't go with P43S 19''. I also like TE37SL alot

I am not sure, what they mean by limited but the R40 series is available in a very healthy 18 - 9.5 and 18 - 10.5 sizing for the E9X M3 and you can use the same tire sizing that you have on the TE37SL.

I personally would go with the R43, but have you considered the new P43SC?

If I was you and needed another set of wheels I'd look into the CCW corsair series (C10/C12 etc).

For 18", I'd go R40 Series. For 19", I'd go P40SC Series.

HRE definitely does custom offsets and configurations.

I recommend you call HRE directly at 760-598-1960 or email LonM@hrewheels.com
