ICS Performance Auto Couture Dyno Day

After seeing the EAS Dyno day results Sal and I figured let's Gather a few ESS Supercharged M's and hit the Dyno and see how well us guys in the East Coast stack up and the results were nonetheless Impressive .

Lalit' VT 625

Car and Modifications:
  • ESS VT2-625 Supercharger kit @ 7.50 PSI Boost
  • Both CAT Delete
  • Innotech F1 Exhaust
  • 93 Octane
  • 6MT
Conditions:
  • Temparature:: 83.47 degrees F
  • Atmospheric pressure: 29.49 inHg
  • Humidity: 31%
  • Density Altitude: *2562 Ft.
  • SAE Correction: 1.011
  • STD Correction: *1.039
  • Uncorrected: 1.000
Results:
  • SAE Corrected: 542whp @ 8330 RPM, 370wtq @ 7615 RPM
  • STD Corrected: 554whp, 337wtq
  • Uncorrected: 536whp, 355wtq

To be frank .... I personally was to damn freaken tired from the noise and fumes , I was high as shit , but Izzy wasn't cause he came late , dyno'd and bounced

ESS has these cars tuned right
I think ESS has these cars tuned right for no meth, but meth will also increase octane, allowing more ignition timing. However, without a meth-specific tune, the gains are limited since you cannot flow as much meth. The percentage of meth run is obviously also an important factor in the octane increase. Still, even with the same tune on the same car, I think a 91 octane dyno, a 93 octane dyno and a 100 octane race gas dyno would yield different numbers, with the higher octane producing the higher numbers.

Correct. There's more power to be made, but not dependent on HAVING to run meth like other kits. The beauty of running meth with this is the added cooling benefit, no necessarily max power.
