More bad luck
Once again my car proves to be a shit magnet. While I was stopped with my top and windows down, some fucks chucked a full and open can of beer in my car from a taxi of all things. Long story short could not follow them and was more concerned about getting the car cleaned (I would have pulled out the Kimber but there goes the rest of my life for some loser). It was really bad, I didn't have any supplies so i had to stop at a Rite-Aid (it was like 330 am), buy water, paper towels, regular towels, and a bunch of (gasp) armor-all leather as well as vinyl wipes. The car still stinks even though I got a cursory wipe over most surfaces.
I am asking people in the detailer section about tips but if I went the professional route, anyone know a place that can turn an interior like that brand new. Preferably somewhere in Brookyln, SI, I can do Queens and jersey close to SI as well. Other than the beer its in near immaculate condition - I full detail her myself at least once every two months. Also, will the beer mess up the wax job since some go on the bootlid? Thanks. It sounded like they were from Staten Island from the brief voices I overheard. Therefore if anyone hears anyone talking about throwing beer at a convertible from a taxi, and it leads to a positive ID, I will give you a substantial monetary reward. PM me for details.

Thanks man, I know they are top-notch by their reputation alone. I was hoping for something a bit closer to Brooklyn though. I will keep my options open though.
I also know that I could be less ignorant and just search through previous posts for detailers, I was just wondering if there were any out there that could maximize their focus on the beer, and minimize it on everything else since the interior is top notch already, if that makes any sense. And military discounts always get priority as well!

Thanks for the suggestions fellas.

The only option I had was the cops - I tried shooting back to the ferry when I put two and two together but by then the boat had taken off, and I didn't feel like looking for a cop when I was covered in and reaking of beer, especially after the tragedy last week where a bunch of people critically wounded a fireman for no reason and there was not a cop to be found at the Ferry Terminal. Karma owes me a lot of good and others a lot of shit as of late, so I am hoping it finally comes though!

I'm guessing you went to the NYC midnight run? I wanted to go but I had to work the 3-11 shift which turned into a 3-1 shift at the PACU floor. Heard a C63 got into an accident as well.

Yeah I was, and with the accident Joey Cuccurro's S4 was involved as well. I feel terrible, as he does such a great job with the Royal Flush Rallys. So I guess I can't complain all that much about what happened, except one issues was caused by adrenaline, the other by subhumans.

Sorry to hear bout your unfortunate event. Sadly we share this world with douchebags and scumbags. But I'm sure their world will unravel eventually. Good luck on the cleaning/detailing.

I went and visited Phil up at Detailer's Domain and he took a look and gave me some advice how to approach it. Definitely a great guy, and worthy of his rep (both from this thread and the forums in general). Since the expert's assessment wasn't bad I did it myself. All I used were Einszett Cockpit and Leatherique, a lot of microfiber towels, q-tips, and little brushes (and a vacuum of course). Took the better part of an afternoon, and an hour the next morning to wipe off the rejuvenator with the leather cleaner, but well worth it. Honestly, those jerkoffs might have done me a favor turning me on to using higher quality products and forcing me to really "learn" how to approach and detail my interior. Thanks again for all the words of support. And I am still looking for who did this...

Oh man bro, that truly sucks. If someone ever did that to my m3....I could swear that i'd fuck their shit up, and make them regret it for the next year or so. You can't do that kinda shit, it's not right.
