Am I the only one who isn't turned off by the Lexus's looks, especially in dark colours and those beautiful alloys.
Can't say I am a fan of the interior, too plain and similar to the lesser models (says someone driving an M3, itself little different to the other 3 series inside). |

The Viper they tested was the 2004 SRT10 roadster, which handled a lot worse and made a lot less power than the current SRT10 coupe, let alone the ACR.
What I liked seeing is that the M3 is a second faster than the 997 S. |

thats actually incorrect, and this misconception seems to have stemmed back from the e36 m3 days when the sedan body was indeed stiffer than the coupe. The e92 body is slightly stiffer (and slightly more aerodynamic) than the e90 as confirmed by the e92 launch press material from bmw, and a Q&A session with m engineers i watched at the time of the e92 m3 launch.

the E92 also has B pillars. all things equal, a B-pillar-ed coupe would be more rigid than a sedan as there would be an additional sheet of metal (at least in the lower part) welded or as a continuing piece where the rear door in a 4-door sedan is. |

It's back on youtube!! Just watched it. I never even considered the IS-F...plus I already heard bout the quad exhaust tips on it being non-functional and fake. Lame I say. The merc...crazy power I give it that. I'm glad i got my M3!!!!!

Also worth noting, the Stig's build changes from week to week, I have noticed sometime he looks taller or better built at time. |

Sedan vs sedan, IMO, the c63 amg exterior/interior are hideous (the rear is butt chrysler), except the seats are nice.
M3, decent looking with the best all around performance IS-F, best looking in the group and nice interior (I know exaust are fake, side vent could be better), but it still looks better than m3 and C63 AMG. If the m3 sedan butt was nicer, then it would win in the look department. |

That's why you buy the coupe and you don't have that problem anymore!
