CMP Track Photos

Hi Guys -

It's been awhile since I posted and it has been about 6 months since I got my new 2013 E92. Some of you probably remember I had a 2009 LeMans Blue E90 that I sold to a great guy ... Bryan (Bmw135er). In between that time I had a new M5 which is crazy fast but I missed the M3's size. So I got back into a M3 with DCT this time and I supercharged it because the power of the M5 was intoxicating.

I had my first opportunity to track the car at CMP. The combination of the SC and the DCT was great on the track. Even though this is a fairly technical track with not many places to really stretch the car's legs, it handled the track beautifully.

Anyway enough talk ... here are a few pics from the event that my brother took.

are those splitters functional? do you notice if they help?

Good seeing Super Laps and blue Stoptechs in action on the track.
My first HPDE was at CMP. Fun times. Can't imagine it with a SC!

Nice setup, did you have a hard time keeping the power applied?

No not really. I ran with Euro MDM mode active all day and it did kick in some coming out of the corners but the 285/35 Hankook RS3's hook up pretty good when you get heat in them and it was a hot day.

Thanks for all the comments guys. The only negative is that my brakes got so hot that by the end of the day the white Stoptech logo turned completely black.
