Changes don't seem to justify doubling the cost of the car. About the same motor and power and only a 132# weight reduction on a 3800# car. If they could knock off 300# that would be something to talk about.

This is ridiculous. Twice the price, for what? Being that this car may hold it's value due to the limited production of it may be the one and only reason to buy it in place of the standard model. And the prospect of top shelf P and F car consumers buying a Nissan instead, is comedy at its finest!

Considering the fact with broken gearboxes, I am surprised it commands 171k. To top up other competitors like BMW, who had the M3 CSL, the price increase was never twice. I think Nissan is trying to set a standard.

WOW. i was sketchy on the idea of an 80,000$ nissan. now a 170,000$ nissan? thats a JOKE. i would MUCH MUCH rather take a GT3RS or maybe even get a good deal on a gallardo or f430.
They should have atleast stripped to weight 500 pounds if they wanted to market it twice the price. Ex. Stripped interior like the f430 vs the f430 scuderia

They not only upped the price, but they figured out more ways to charge for service.
"These massive brakes, co-developed with Brembo, save 11 pounds per wheel and generate titanic stopping force (up to 2.0 G at the Nürburgring) but cost more than $50,000 to overhaul." Will anyone with enough cash to maintain this car buy it over a Ferrari? |

"Co developed with Brembo"
Doesnt that just mean they gave brembo their specs and brembo built what they wanted instead of just pulling parts off the shelf?

I just had my friend trade his F430 coupe for $165k so if u spend that kind of money go for the Ferrari u will get LC and a warranty and cheaper maintanence.

You could buy a ZR-1 for the track and M3 loaded DD. I'm also looking foward to trap times on these autos now that launch control is tanked. I've an idea they will suffer.
