New Member in Bay Area

I took delivery of my 2011 M3 a couple weeks ago and thought I'd introduce myself. I was the proud owner of an E46 M3 until a large tree fell on it in late Dec. As sad as that was, I've really enjoyed my E92. I picked the Space Gray on Fox Red/Black w/ competition pkg because I really love how the Frozen Gray coupe looks. Other options include DCT, Convenience, Premium, Enhanced Sound, CF Roof and Heated Seats.

Tomorrow I'm getting the 1200 miles service done and looking forward to really seeing what the car can do without the break-in period restrictions. In March I'll be taking her to Laguna Seca with BMW CCA, should be exciting!

Here are some photos from the first road trip down the coast to Santa Cruz the other weekend.

Thanks, here's my short list of upgrade plans so far.

1. Upgraded brake pads and fluid (to help with track days)
2. K&N Filter
3. Window tint
4. Exhaust (Open to suggestions, looking for something not too loud and that doesn't drone on the highway)
5. CF bits to match the roof (grill, mirror caps, rear lip spoiler)
6. TBD

The event sold out but they have a waiting list if you want to try and get in. http://ggcbmwcca.org/?page=calendar&id=574 If that doesn't work out, we are trying to get another Laguna date in late spring.

Congrats! Beautiful color combo. With regards to your list of mods, I would recommend the Akrapovic slip-on or the full evolution system for your exhaust. No drone at all (except at 2000 rpm which is there even with the stock system) and it's a little loud only during a cold start. Perfect exhaust in my opinion.
