what kind of mats are coming with your cars?

I know that m3s used to come with m3 mats but i've seen lately that some cars delivered off the trucks have mats in them (not the case for regular 3s) and they are generic ones, not m3 or bmw logos. any recent stories?

Uh, M3s do not come with mats. You have to buy them. You can buy M3 ones, but you get none standard with the car.

Nice touch for a $75K car, eh?

^^^ Haha, I love that $75-80k cars don't come with mats and just carpet. Amazing. Very Porsche-like.

Your dealer should give them to you for free, if not, slap him or her a few times to introduce them to reality.

European Delivery Cars get free mats, free generic floor mats. Yes the mats don't say //M or BMW.

I had m3 mats included at no charge which I never asked for. On the day of delivery, I mentioned to my CA that it was nice that the dealer included M3 specific mats, he looked at me like I was nuts... ha.

It's the dealers choice, but seriously, 70K car and you can't throw in 40 dollar (true dealer cost) mats?

I got M3 mats with mine, included. Wow - Thanks for the "free" floor mats. I just picked up a 2011 E93 for my Wife yesterday and they again included "free" mats

I dont get it, just tell the OP what he wants to know instead of "showing off" what you can get for free.
Its policy from BMW to not include mats of any kind but dealers usually include either the BMW logo floor mat or the M3 mats. It is up to you to ask or the dealer to just give on their own accord.
When I bought my car they offered me M3 mats, but I said I alos wanted the rubber all-weather mats. I got both sets for free.

My E92 came with M3 mats and they gave me a free set of rubber mats after I asked for them....because of a service fuck up I have yet to post here for everyone to read.

mine had just plain matts as well and i mentioned it and they had no problem throwing in a set of the m3 matts instead.

Don't come with mats. Many ask for them as part of the deal, others ask for both the M3 carpet mats + all weather mats as part of the deal.

Amazing that a 70K car requires you to order "mats"--but then there's the Iphone, USB, and other usually standard components. Could be worse--go look at what comes with a P car!

If you are tired of the black M3 mats, you can get the E46 M3 mats in 3 colors: black, beige, and gray. I have a set of gray mats with the silver interior and it mixes better than the black. The E46 mats fit just fine...hard to tell any difference.

Dude.. Our cars (e92) cost $58k..

It only reaches the $65-$75k level after adding options, such as the floor mats.

I didn't get any free mats like some lucky buyers received..But hey I got a really useful bmw dealer mug instead ...
