Shipping an ECU
Just a questions for the group.
What if the shipping company misplaces or damges your ECU.. How Fu#%ed would you be?? I am assuming you would have to go to BMW to get a replacement, and of course there goes your warranty?? |

I understand that part and would ship insured via next day but still no guarantee, They can still lose it or damage it by mistake and IE no ECU chip anymore. I am wondering if that happens, can you get an ECU from the dealer? |

Or you can personally fly to miami, lay on the beach, and goto AA or boston, see a celtics game, and go to Turner.
I would imagine that you can get a new ecu from the dealer.

You can get your car reprogrammed at any shop that has access to AutoLogic with a new ECU. The ECU can be purchased separately from Tischer, so your local dealer won't need to know.
