i did a test fit on my rears last night (19x11 +26) and the inside of the wheel looked extremely close to the plastic part of the inner fender. So close it just seems like there is no way that it wouldn't be rubbing with a tire on there, could barely fit my finger between the space. From what i understood, this size/offset should have no issue with rubbing on the inside of the rear so I'm a bit confused. Will the clearance in that spot change when the car is sitting on the ground instead of jacked up with the suspension hanging like it was when i tested the wheels? Or should i be concerned here? I really don't want to have to use spacers

OK - going with the following set-up:

2013 E93 M3
Stock suspension

19x9.5 (F) et 22 with a 255-265/30 or 255/35
19x10.5 (R) ET 25 with a 285-295/30 or 285/35

Tires will be Michelin PSS

Will this rub?
Can I run the 265 and 295 tire with 35 sidewall and be safe from rubbing?

Thanks in advance.

Are you talking about the plastic area inside the wheel arch where the two panels meet (there's a limp of plastic on the inside)? If so... I had the same issue and yes, it rubbed going over bumps at speed. In the end I just trimmed some of the plastic away et voila.... No rear rubbing...

I'm running PSS 265/30s up front on +22 offsets. Full lock... No rubbing.... Was think about trying 265/35s to fill the gap I've got so please me know if those rub...

Wheels: Forgestar CF10 Deep Concave 19x9.5 ET +18 (F) and 19x11 ET +27 (R)
Tires: Leaning toward 255/30 in the front and 285/30 in the rear, wrapped in Michelin PSS

Is this tire size too aggressive?

Originally thought 265/30 (F) and 295/30 (R) - I am concerned with rub...

Thanks in advance for your feedback.
I have F14s in 19x9.5 et 18 and 19x11 et 25 on 265/30 and 295/30 PSS, lowered on KW HAS (with EDC), and I do rub the rears on the fender on good sized dips. I'm sitting less than a finger width off the tire though also. With stock suspension I think you'd likely be fine.

Pretty sure if you search you'll find that 265/35 are too tall to fit the fronts- they're almost an inch larger in diameter than the 265/30. 265/30 or 275/30 are the best you can do without significantly deviating from the stock diameter.

Not sure if you've seen this, but it's extremely useful:

Thanks for the link and the feedback. Yeah... I thought the same thing when I opted for the 265/30s in the first place but I do a) want to reduce the wheel/gender gap and b) reduce the staggered wheel size gap so maybe I'll go 275/30s when they're due for a change and in the meantime look at a KW HAS kit!

Nope. We're not. Wow... That is interesting. And these are 11" with a +25 offset?

Hmmm... I'm certainly no expert but it does look tight to me. If I get a chance I'll jack mine up and have a look over the weekend but certainly my rubbing issue was on the outside of the wheel (against the plastic guard liner).

im wondering if it was only because with the car jacked up the suspension is hanging. It makes sense to me that the clearance in that spot would be bigger with the control arm straight out compared to when its hanging down at an angle while the car is jacked up.

I guess there's only one way to be sure. Put some rubber on those rims and get them fitted!

They look great! Are you doing springs or a sleeve over kit to lower?
