Rub / No Rub Index

Will a 19 X 10 rub on a 2008 BMW 335i Sedan?

Car is an 08 e90 m3. recently put 10mm spacers on my front wheels which are 20x9 ET 28. I'm on lowering springs. The front tires now rub on the fender liner. If anyone could provide help on what to do it would be appreciated. The only things I can think of is either cutting the fender liner or running a smaller tire. The tires are 255/30/20. I thought I would be alright cause I see a lot of people on here running more aggressive front setups than me

I'm on 20x9 ET28 in the front running 255/30 PS2s with no spacers and I'm as close you can get to rubbing without actually rubbing. You either need to remove the spacers or go to a 245/30.

What brand of tires are you running? I have 20x9 +23 255/30/20 dropped on H&Rs. No rubbing even at full lock.

I hear Michelin's run a little wide. I have Vreds. Still, according to your offset and spacer size, you are only + 5 more than me. Is the rubbing severe or only at full lock? Over bumps?

I'm running 255/30 PS2s on the same size and offset wheels without spacers. They are so close that if I put a piece of double stick tape on the firewall side of the fender liner, the tire will rub the tape on full lock. PSS run a little wider than PS2s. With the addition of the spacer, I can see how it would rub. I used to run Vreds in the same size and I can tell you the PS2s are noticeably wider.

rubbing is pretty severe, it hits the back of the fender liner right after I begin to turn the wheel

Damn, looks like you are gonna have to pull those spacers. A 245/30/20 may not rub but the load rating may not be adequate. It sucks trying to get the perfect fitment. I wanted a 20x9 +17 from WORK but was told it was gonna take 6 months just to get the disk made.

Have anyone tried 18" TE37 with everything ZCP stock?

TE37 is 18x9.5 et22 and 8x10.5 et20, probably gonna use 255/265-35-18 front and 275/285-35-18 rear.

will this setup work?

2009 e92 lowered on H&R race springs

F 19x9.5 ET18
R 19x11 ET22

looking to run 265/30/19 F and R 295/30/19 Michelin Pilot Super sports

thinking about switching the rears to 285 to be on the safe side but if 295 will work that would be great as i already have a set available.

Just had Michelin Pilot Sport A/S 3 installed with 255/35/19 and 275/35/19 combination. I am running stock ZCP and stock rims and there is no rubbing. Took it to full extension in both directions and no rubbing.

Guys, I am thinking of running 18x10 +25 up front with 275/35/18 NT01's on my E90 with Dinan Stage 1 Suspension.

Any idea if I will rub? I can't seem to find a definitive answer.

Thanks!

You will be ok but you may need some negative camber in the front (as close to -2 degrees as you can).

I think I have decided to stick with RS3's on the 18x10's up front.

I will likely just purchase some GC Plates for some more negative camber up front as well
