Can the DVD player in the CIC iDrive system read dual layer DVD's?

I tried burning a bunch of music videos on to a dual layer DVD to play on the CIC DVD player. But the DVD drive never recognized it as a valid DVD disc. Since I know a single-layer DVD works, I figure maybe the drive didn't have the ability to read DL DVD discs.

Anyone have success in doing something similar using DL DVD's?

I play movies on CIC all the time and they are all dual-layer. How did you burn the DVD? Did you just burn the video clips to DVD as files or you "Author" the DVD using an authoring software? Your DVD files should be in Video TS folder with VOB extensions.
