HELP ecu tune with high flow and catless!

I was install rpi catless x-pipe with catless ecu tune.

and I changed my exhaust with highflow cat x-pipe..

so...

catless x-pipe ecu tune is fine with hfc x-pipe??

I think he's wondering if he can run the same tune when he had catless x-pipe now that he decided to run an X-pipe with cats

Pretty sure all the stage II tunes are for catless or HFC.

Just a confirmation -

there is no difference in tuning from a good high flow CAT and DeCAT.

The difference in back pressure is minimal as measured by us some years ago.

The power difference also is absolutely minimal as can be seen from the below controlled and data logged dyno test:



The above is the difference between Evolve 200 CELL CAT's in the X Pipe vs No Cat's in the X Pipe.

As you can see, not a great deal in it at all.

So carry on using the same tune.

There is actually no issue in using a stock tune or what we consider to be a stage 1 tune (for stock exhaust). The CEL light for CAT efficiency will of course come on but simply turning this off does not really equate to a 'stage 2'. Once the back pressure of the primary CAT's is removed there is some nice scope to alter the dynamic cam timing which gives a nice power increase especially under partial load.
