What's goin' on guys (and gals?) Looks like the thread's regained some life. I've got an E90 on the way, should hit Charleston at the end of the month for PDC delivery a couple weeks later.

Wanted to ask, especially those in north Texas, what do y'all do for winter tires? (brand, staggered vs. square, etc.) After delivery in SC, I'm gonna be driving the M3 to DC to spend the holidays with family, then taking the long way back to TX through IN to visit more family, so there's a possibility of running into real winter weather, but only for those couple weeks. I'll be running OEM 18's until spring, and yes, I've read ben@tirerack's whole thread.

Realistically, you won't need winter tires in Texas. Most of the time they shut everything down here anyway, and by the next day or two the streets are clear. Except for dc I don't think you will get much snow from carolinas back to Texas. Save the money.

All I know, you don't need them here. Even in the crap we had two years ago, there was an e90 335 next to me in my truck in a lot of snow and ice, and he was keeping up just fine coming back from wichita falls.

It's going good. Only another year left! I'm home for thanksgiving break finally. Helping my parents move out of their house..really hectic!

I doubt we'll see any the dealers are willing to let off the lot for a while.

Hey there everyone. I just wanted to say hi. I have been lurking for a while. I have a 2011 Jerez Black E92 M3. Love the car!

A little about me. I am a physician (Interventional Radiologist) in the DFW area. I am a father of 3 young girls but thankfully I don't have to take them around much hence my ability to get the coupe. I have had a Porsche Cayenne Turbo as well as a 335i coupe in the past but nothing comes close to the fun I have with this M3!

I would be interested in any helpful information you seasoned pros have regarding the E92 and if there are any M3 meets, I would definitely be interested.

I tested a few competitors including the S5 (not a real competitor) and the C63. Realized what a foolish mistake it would be to part with the M3!

OK, so spotted a Houston member here in New Orleans today. Interlagos Blue E92, black wheels and side gills, pretty dark tint and Remus exhaust. Had the Houston M Club stickers on the side windows. Beautiful car...
