Replacing the Plastic Jack Points

I recently damaged the plastic jack points on my car and bought replacements. Does anyone know how to remove the plastics jack points?

OK I replaced all 4 jack points on my car. I will post a DIY soon.

My dyno machine guy broke the clips on the front. I replaced both of them and they are as easy as snapping it in and giving it a hit 1-2 times to secure it.

Apparently there is a 'jack pad adapter' available to prevent the damage from ECS Tuning. I saw the ad in this months Roundel.

yes, you can get an adapter ... I bought mine for like 35 from Aluminum ... Great thing to have around !

Looks like you can just pull them out and pop them back in based off these pics.

If its like my E46, there's a plastic rivet in the middle. Pop that out and the pad comes out.

Not sure I ever understood the aluminum pad adaptors. I've never had to replace any of the pads on either of my BMWs and I jack my car up a lot. I use a piece of plywood or a hockey puck on the jack.
