That's funny. First off I didn't deny to being slightly sensitive to idiotic commentary. Secondly, I never said you had to own something to comment on it. I am merely pointing out the hypocrisy of the GTR bashers. YOu people whine about GTRs, GTR owners, and GTR threads but seem to be have a desire to constantly comment. Why?

It wasn't a money issue And I certainly don't buy my cars to show off. I don't buy my cars based on how fast it goes 0-60 or how fast it will circle nordschleife. I know how big my dick is, thank you very much. I buy my cars based on how they feel when driven.

I still have the m3 and the Porsche and have plans on getting a gt3rs by early next year. Do you not get it? Some people will never buy a car just for how fast it can go around a circle and a straight line. I will take a stripped down 335 over a gtr. Hell I'd take a few vw models over a gtr. after the initial excitement and amazement with the performance of a car after a while you get used to how fast it is and then u realize that u really bought a piece of shit and that's what happens with a lot of gtr an corvette owners. I've seen this happen with my own friends. After sitting in my m3 they miss the feel of having a quality car made by smarter engineers that know how to make a transmission that doesn't sounds like a garbag disposal. Even the look and feel of the gear lever itself. Moving it up and down feels refined in a bmw while In gtr it you could hear and feel the cheapness scattered throughout the entire car. And trust me most people who give up their m3's for gtr's eventually carry a certain level of regret that they try to cover up by continuing to hang around in an m3 forum to brag about performance figures.

I can see going from a evo or a wrx to a gtr but if ur going from a m3 to a gtr you should really look into getting ur brain checked. Forget the quality factor but going from an award winning one of a kind high revving responsive Na aspirated technological masterpiece to Nissans prehistoric v6 with FI and turbo lag just to brag about 0 to 60 times and how fast u can go around a circle. Pretty pathetic. IMO a lot of insecurities Involved here.
