Massive Oil Leak, Need Help ID Source
It's only been a week since I purchased it too, ffs. Car has warranty on it, but I want to at least know what to check when work is done. Taking it to dealer Monday.
Please see pics: It looks like the leak is coming from that big cylinder (not too familiar with the S65 yet, sorry I sound noobish), but I see it's also sprayed all over the undertray. Maybe it was spraying oil under pressure? I only really pushed it twice in the week I owned it. I don't see any cracks, nor does it leak while idle, but then it's an oily mess, and I'm not cleaning it up, leaving the evidence for the dealer. So what is that cylinder anyway? |

haha that's not that massive. Peek at the gaskets, replace if necessary, otherwise just clean up the area and the surfaces that create a seal when you screw the filter housing cap back on (assuming your gaskets are in good shape).
