Just had a set installed at EAS last week. Everything seems good except the heat is not working. Tom is going to fix that in the next few days.

have you sat in the recaro sporster cs or performance seats? dont look like they really add much in the way of lateral suppost over the stock seats.

The alcantara on the BMW seats provides significant grip compared to the OEM seats.

that can only do so much. was wondering how substantial the side bolsters in the leg and torso area are? probably more for looks than track use i sould guess.

Leg support is more than torso

Just had mine installed prior to Christmas - and my BPM coding cable arrived in the mail today! Can't wait to 'complete the installation'!

I have found the support to be excellent - certainly better than the OEM leather seats. Next track day will tell the true story...

And I don't think it is possible to buy only one seat - from what I understand, you'll have to buy both seats - then its up to you if you want to just install one seat...I don't know what the implications are for a drivers seat only install...

Seats can be purchased separately, can't see why someone would want only one.

Won't work in my case -- she'd slap me.

These are the seats the M3 should have come with. Congrats Lagunae92. If my mod budget allowed, I'd get these too. Too bad not really for US. I wonder when the government will mandate all interiors be upholstered in fluffy pillows?

Cheers.

O M G... I need a CRT....

That is the most BADASS back seat I've ever seen. I'd be totally up for putting even the Euro front seats in the M3 - why do they get bolsters on the bottom and we don't.

But wow... can't stop looking at that picture. It's epic.

Hi Tom

Just retrofitted some of the perf seats today and plan on get the coding sorted next week as at present red light on dash and alert on the idrive showing....

I tried the heated seats funtion and doesnt appear to work... is this just a coding issue or do i need to do something else?

Also my original seats were memory seats. i have simply plugged the cable from them into the perf seats. Is that ok? there was a second plug (white) which doesnt appear to have a slot in the perf seats.

Thanks

You will need the wiring kit in order for the heating feature to be restored.
