It definitely looks good in matte. He should keep it that way for sure. Really good repair job especially seeing what he had to start with...

It's a hotly debated topic Sal haha. I think this is one of the few colors that can pull off the OEM grill

Haha I got a secret to tell you. That's actually 5 coats of Plasti dip you are looking at
I was kind of so-so about the finish until we test fitted them on the car. Was thinking of putting a coat of glossifier on top but I got too impatient and the matte finish provides a cool contrast. Besides, I figured I DIY'ed the entire repair myself, might as well finish it completely. And in case I scrape the hell out of it and damage it, I can DIY everything myself again.

Thanks for the kind words guys!

Holding up amazing! Thought about refinishing them in Porsche GT3RS grey, but decided to hold off because the face is still looking great. I'm still actually on the same set of PSS, still plenty of meat left.

Haha how was your experience with them? I also saw a guy that bought a Porsche 911 Turbo. Picture was on the exact same spot as my set of pics haha.

Very, very nice job. Ever consider no tint or lighter tint to help see the interior and give a more clean look?

And we all win haha. Can't go wrong with the V1 lip. I honestly was a CF splitters or nothing kind of guy, but I was very wrong. I'm actually pretty impressed how much clearance it has and I haven't scrapped more to be honest with you.

Thank you! Actually the car came with no tint. It's actually my first car with tint, because I was very apprehensive about it, but love the 20% now. My concern was that you wouldn't be able to see the Bamboo Beige leather from the outside anymore, which is kind of the case unless you look through the front. But it's amazing how much cooler it keeps the car. The iDrive knob used to be literally too hot to touch due to 100F+ degree SC weather when the car sat outside at work. Not a problem anymore!

When I had the splitters on mine it scraped everywhere, I ended up breaking one and took them off. With the lowered set up that we have and I guess because the car is dark color it looks like something is missing without the splitters or a lip.
I think I like the black better than the carbon, makes it look more like it belongs there.
