This is exactly what I've been looking for, nice! I already have a front BBK and really wanted a quick pad swap option for the rear without spending for a full rear BBK. So much easier to swap track pads in/out this way. Does anyone know what pad shape the rear kit is?

I'm going to attempt to answer my own question here. These look quite a bit like 2010 Porsche Cayenne Turbo rear calipers and if that is correct I've found the following pad options, LINK.
Based on this it seems like the availability of track pads in this shape may be limited, bummer. EDIT: These are not the correct pad shapes, see below.

Some pad manufacturers will do custom sizes/shapes, depending on the compound. Won't be cheap, but it's still a possibility. Kinda stinks they would use the Cayenne calipers, and the rear ones at that. In my Audi days, the Cayenne front calipers were a popular upgrade and the pad selection wasn't too bad.

The pad is not 2010 Porsche Cayenne Turbo rear.
Some of the compounds available. For example from HAWK there are: DTC-60 DTC-70 DTC-30 HPS 5.0 HPS CERAMIC Last edited by albertracing; 06-01-2016 at 11:17 AM.. |

Are the rears the same pad shape as the 997 c2s rears? If so that would be amazing and I could get almost any track pad I would care to run! I don't mind dremeling the backing plates for proper fitment either. Please share more info if you don't mind (you might convince some track junkies to go this route if you do).

Not sure if these are the correct pads but here are the 997 rear C2S PFC options:
PFC08 - 997 C2S rear PFC11 - 997 C2S rear And actually the 997 Carrera pad shape looks similar also (slightly different dimensions).

What piston bores and disc diameters are you using front and rear? I'd love to run the brake balance/bias calculations for these 'kits'.

Hey Albert, is it recommended to buy both front and rear setups or am I ok purchasing just the front BBK? Would like proper brake bias.

This is a legitimate question and one of the key factors in making my decision to purchase a set . Any answer to this?

i don't think anyone is going to be able to answer that. i think he's asking to provoke thought.
calipers may help with overall feel, but they aren't going to help with tracking. rotors are the more specific weak point in the system.

I've had this setup on my car for almost 2 months now. While I've only driven it on the street, I can say I definitely feel an improvement over stock. The quality and fitment of the setup is great...not to mention it looks great!
I have a trackday scheduled for the 27th of November at Laguna Seca. After then, I'll provide my full feedback here on the forums from a company review/experience, installation, fitment, street and track use experiences. Stay tuned! IMG_2700aa by dj_dub, on Flickr
