which new toy to get? hmmm...
I have a 2009 e92 m3...but i'm going to be getting a new toy soon. I've pretty much narrowed down my options to two cars. What do you guys think I should get, and try to give me some reasons for that, or possibly another car not mentioned. I'm looking for a car w/ a punch, and definately a manual transmission. I'd prefer back seats so the 370z is out of the question. I would also prefer all wheel drive, but it's not necessary....The two cars that I like are the 2010 Subaru WRX STi, and a 2010 Camaro 2SS...

In New York? I'd probably go with the STi. While it'll be less expensive to make power gains with the Camaro, the AWD will help you throughout the year, plus its a fun car to drive. I guess since you have a M3 AWD/RWD doesnt really matter, but that would be my choice.

I guess I am a little confused.
I am assuming the this car will be in addition to the M3. What's the reason (purpose) for the toy? The answer would give us an insight into what other cars to suggest. |

i could never drive a 370z or a Subaru STI or any boy racer rides while knowing my M3 sits in my garage, a toy should be cooler then your DD IMO.

Buy a Viper ACR. You wont ever get bored with the fact that any small move and the car will kill you that will keep you on your toes. STI? Camaro? I was already bored with both of those 10 minutes into a test drive . If youre not looking for anything sophisticated, get a gt500, have fun melting tires

If it doesnt have to be new get a b5 S4 with the rs6 turbos, meth, etc.
If it has to be new and you want a stupid fast car go with the sti If it has to be new and want a well balanced car get the exige s If it is supposed to be a track car get this: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/2004-...item1c1133c57e

The Exige is not what I would call a "balanced" car. It's next to a race car. Probably one of the best "weekend" cars though. Is the Radical even legal on US roads? Cheers. P.S. Interesting disclaimer you have there. Practical too.

"2010 Subaru WRX STi, and a 2010 Camaro 2SS..." wtf...?
Just get another M3 in manual. Maybe a sedan and lower it w/t rims and exhaust...Get that sideways

I concur. To complement an M3, I wouldn't get anything less radical than a Lotus. An Ariel Atom or a Caterham would also work, but those are more difficult to register and insure than a Lotus.
I used to have an Elise, and sometimes I miss it. Maybe I'll get a used one in a few months for track duty. |
