Is it necessary to have a 'Y' rating when car is limited to 168 indicated (around 160 real)? That only leads to more expense and more weight, no?

I made the switch on all fours to Conti 3 from PS2s. Gotta say after a week of running over the same roads that I much prefer the Contis. I found the PS2s really grippy, but on the limit snapped away, not much time to recover. Contis, so far, feel more progressive and predictable. Ride is excellent, less fidgety. Filled the Contis with Nitrogen so that may explain the ride, but definitely no complaints and saved £300 over the PS2s...

Do you find the traction control light is on a lot more with the Contis? |
