angle on driveways and speedbumps as best you can
be conscious of door dings when parking, but don't park far and possibly in a unsafe location above all...DRIVE SAFELY...My wife and mother of my children are far more important to me than this car...

She only drives it when I ask her to (i.e. so I can have a couple drinks, take a nap, etc) and I have to give her credit -- she needs no list of rules. I guess I chose wisely!

Wife drove my car a total of two(2) times, she returned it and said it was too much work for her; watching every curb, angles on driveway, too loud, manual transmission, etc etc. I think she is scared of the M .

Don't have a wife, but I've let my best friend drive it. She knows how to drive stick, but the M3 is completely different than what she normally drives.
Why do I let her? She's my best friend. If it makes her day just to drive my car 10-15mins, then great. I believe in Karma. Plus, she knows the consequences of messing up my car haha.

I try to take good care of it, but it is just a car. I have lent it to people and let lots of people drive it. My wife does not really like it that much since she now prefers automatic tranmissions and mine is a manual. Also, she likes to use her car as a pickup truck (had E70 X5 and now has E61 535xit) and mine does not hold as much. But if she needs to drive it, she is free to do so.

I don't have an M3 but someday I will. In the meantime I have a 328 with a manual. I let my gf take my car if she needs it whenever because she drives a Mini Cooper hardtop with a manual. Granted its an easier manual to drive, but the Mini is also a lot lower to the ground than my car.
So if she needs my car I have one rule... If you're going to get in an accident then total it. Every time She takes it I remind her to be careful (she's a really aggressive driver) and that the car is replaceable but human an pet life isn't. |

My wife STILL cannot remember to put car in "D" mode from start. Since my car always starts in sport mode, she starts in "1" and revs to at least 5k everytime And then remembers to push dct to right into "d". I am seriously considering taping small reminder note onto dash!!!!!
She does however have her own key fob that i programmed with "less than tame" settings!!!! |

Mine tracks the M3. She always wants to know what mod is next. I guess you just picked the wrong wife.
