Most affordable tires?

I have Yokohama advan sport in OEM 19 inch size.

They are performing great! Both wet and dry. Low noise. In Sweden they have a good price.

Maybe an option for OP?

+1 The PSS is a great value and good handling tire in both the wet and dry.

PSS are at least $100/tire more than V12 or Vreds. That's a 50% premium from what you can get the V12 or Vreds for. If that's worth it to you, then by all means buy them.

I have a set of track tires for the track, so I don't need that last 10% of grip that I wouldn't be using on the street anyway. I know the PS2's melt at the track and the PSS are suppose to be better, but from what a few people have said here and on other sites, they will melt too.

I destroyed my PS2 in one track event. I wont do that again, they perform well but an expensive excursion. Gotta have track tires if you push the car hard. I just ordered a set of stock sized 19's PSS for under 1200 all in. Seriously, thats the biggest bang for the buck.

I've always ran Hankook V12's on all my other cars, by far the best tire for every day use, even with camber wear, stretched wheel, wet, dry. (IMO of course)

My vote is for the PSS. The increased performance and improved longevity over max performance tires easily justifies the additional cost - they pay for themselves in the long run

Hey Aus, who sells the Vred Vortis that offer a good deal. I may try these.

I was going to get them from http://www.performanceplustire.com/ but their supplier couldn't get them in the time frame I needed, so I just got some Sessantas again.
Ask for David. He's aware of these tires. They're still pretty new to the US.
There was one guy from Europe who was asking about them here a few months back.

I read some reviews on them and they seemed pretty positive. I wish Vred would list all the specs on this tire such as weight and such.

Ive run Hankook V12's on my previous car and was very pleased. Very comfortable for a daily driver with good performance and extremely affordable.

For those only recommending PSS's...you do realize they are about 2x the price of the Hankooks right? For street driving only I dont see how they are better than the Hankooks.

You are swapping out parts designed by some of the top engineers in the world because some guys sponsored by a company told you it's "better??" But when you ask the same guy about tracking, "oh no, I have a kid now" or "I just detailed my car." or "i just got new tires."
