Man, w/ DCT, I was approaching turn 3 in 4th gear, I'd brake & wanted to pop off a 2-gear downshift, but DCT wouldn't let me and I'd be in 3rd gear as I'm turning in. Then, I'd have to bleed off some speed to get into 2nd gear. With turn 3 leading to a steep uphill, I'm obviously losing speed/time there. I forgot about your post when I was on the track. Next time, I'm definitely treating turn 3 as a big braking point. :I

Nice meeting you all on Sun. Sean and thanks for hooking it up. I had a great time. Big Willow is a fast track. Thanks Ricky for the pointers at the end of the day. Too bad you couldn't hang around for the last couple sessions at the end of the day but I hear you about being tired. After we talked I checked speeds around turn 2 and around turn 8 and I'm way off. I have alot to learn.

Here's a vid I took with my iPhone.

Here's the Album:

It's only pics of my car cause they're pretty strict on 1 driver per paid ($65!) CD. Too bad Hannah wasn't there to take more shots of other cars :/

Nothing's happened to the lip. That's just sun reflecting off of wrinkled road wrap he's got on there.

It does look like he just drove through a minefield though, now that he mentions it.

Lol

Royce's wrap was amazing... you could barely tell it was there. no flapping around.

He did it right. I'll need to do it like that too

I have soooo much rubber on my rear bumper right behind my tire... can't get it off... getting the car washed today, better come off...

How do you mount your iphone to the windshield? I just bought a mount and it shakes a lot more than yours does.

Yeah, road wrap isn't too photogenic if you don't put it on meticulously, or on any color other than white car.

Ram mount. Works pretty good.

Thanks. Yup just streched it out pretty tight and it layed down somewhat smooth on the large flatter surfaces. Then I cut pie cuts with a razor around the contoured surfaces and just layed them down. Only about an hours work with another set of hands.

Sorry for my ignorance but how did you add the graphic with the info on the screen? Is that an App for the iPhone?
I plan to go on the July 30 track day and would be nice to have this type of video info.

Yup. It is an app for the iPhone called Harry's Lap Timer. It records the video and does the graphics overlay of the GPS and speed data all within the app.
