NO BASS OR MID TONES

Anyone with Enhanced Premium Sound package ever run into an issue where they completely lose bass and mid tones?

I thought it was all in my head, because I recently attended a bass completion, but it's not the case.

Amp is fine, I will inspect the connection feeds on the subs today, but that's not going to correct the mid notes that are also missing.

Any help, advice, testimonies are greatly appreciated.

Update: Car is a 2011 e92 M3

Yes....This happens. It is happening to me right now. I'm being genuine when I say this so please don't take it the wrong way...But when doing a search on this I found many instances of this happening and several threads on this forum and others.

It seems, most the time, a wire on the subs under the seats in the floor, comes loose. This wire is typically kind of internal and difficult to fix at times. It seems based on my research as well that rarely is it the amp.

Just what I have found.

Trust me when I say this but I've search long and hard for solutions and there are different solutions for different cases. My subs are intact and my amp is fine.

So have you taken a volt meter and tested the ohms on the speaker and the voltage/current coming from the amp?

Did you find the issue was in losing mid-tones and bass and the solution? I have a similar issue (2011 e92 M3 individual audio), hoping to find a solution to this.

Will try to dig out the speakers under the seats to see if it's broken this weekend. All my other speakers (tweeters and mid-ranges) seem to be working when adjusting right/left/front/back source of sound. Seems to me it's a subwoofer issue as other speakers are working unless the amp only drives the subs.

I am having the same problem in my 08 individual audio system. It comes and goes. I know its time to change my battery. Going to see if that changes anything. Will keep you posted.

I'm having the same problem in my 2011 X5m with enhanced premium sound. Was anyone able to figure out what the problem was?
