I don't flock to men with kids. I AM a kid. I can hardly take care of myself, I don't want to date another person who has baggage.

Yeah if i had a kid, i know i wouldnt get nearly 3/4 as many dates. It would just be a huge turn off. But i dont mean im gonna go and date as many dads as i can, im just sayin that it does bring a nuturing side to the man.

I'm currently in a relationship for almost 5 years now... Yet I still feel lonely. Lets just say I'd rather be single now.

I use to have real issues w/ always being single, but now that I know why I am, I'm perfectly ok w/ it. I'm a quality guy and I just don't settle for any girl, besides that my thinking is at times much beyond where most girls heads are. So it means more when I find a girl I click w/ and can enjoy her company, but even then I'm not really too incredibly anxious for anything to happen, just sailing and enjoying the scenery.

Well if you still feel lonely and you've been in a 5 year relationship, you may want to re-evaluate your relationship....It may be that you are just very comfortable with her presence and afraid to let go....Let me tell you...its not a safe thing and will def hurt you in the future...(been there done that)...don't get me wrong..if I got what I wanted from her (the sense of belonging), I probably would have never had that feeling of loneliness (sp)

Someone here mentioned that women always want what they can't have. I think the more appropriate statement is that they want what they can't and/or shouldn't have. Having a gf seems to always make you more desirable to most women.

Back when I was single, I used to also wonder where all to find a good woman. Then I started noticing a pattern. While I was single, there were no women to be found, but as soon as I got into a relationship women were coming out of the woodwork trying to date me. I looked carefully at that situation and realized that I was the same person with a girlfriend or without, but the difference was that when I had a gf, I was no longer looking. Even when I didn't have a gf, I would typically meet somone once I got to the point that I was fed up and stopped looking.

Now, I've been married for 5 years and I can see the same is still true. For hygiene reasons, I often don't wear my wedding band to work. On the days that I do wear my band, I seem to get more women flirting with me. So once again, we get to that idea of wanting what you shouldn't have.

I guess women have this 6th sense where they can tell when a guy is looking for a woman, which is likely an unattractive attribute. So, my advise is just stop looking for a gf and then things will eventually work themselves out.

Its so true. I always want the guys i cant have. And its bad, the guy who is harder to get is the one i want more. I dont even look at the nice sweet single guy, i want the one whose taken.. i guess its a harder challenge and the chase is the best part. But, i def dont like ruining relationships, so ill try to stay away.

And let me tell u somethin else. The guy who doesnt outwardly flirt with me is the one ill be more interested in. For example.. tonight at work i had 2 guys come in to eat. Both 28yrs old. I never thought the one guy was attractive..so i didnt really pay attention. But then we started talkin about the east coast (hes from jersey) and his personality caught my eye. He never forwardly asked for my # nor did he say i was cute/hot/whatever.. But that sparked an interest in me cause he wasnt pushy.

If u want a girl, dont act interested. She'll be SO curious as to why u never asked her out, she'll prob ask u first.
