Wrestlemania 30

Did anyone watch this? I just saw a clip of Hoagan, The Rattlesnake and The most electrifying man in sports entertainment today on youtube, and it brought be back to my childhood when I would do wrestling moves on my pet monster and these guys were my heroes.

Yeah, I'm serious...I watched this when I was a kid, and seeing these guys again made me nostalgic. I'm sure you liked a lot of gay shit when you were a kid, too.

as a child, I liked watching grown men in underwear smash each other into the mat and scream in pain as their arms were getting slightly twisted....

-i enjoyed watching Brutus the Barber Beefcake cut people's hair in the ring after a win
-i really enjoyed Bobby the Brain Heenan act like the biggest asshole in the world
-i will never forget how geeked i would be when I'd hear Hacksaw Jim Dugan's entrance music
-i still remember Macho Man and Hulk Hogan fighting backstage over Miss Elizabeth
-Legion of Doom were badasses
-admittedly, i was a little scared of Kamala...
-i hated Koko B. Ware and his stupid bird
-Hart Foundation will always be the best Tag Team in the history of the world....
-Jimmy Super Fly Snuka was my favorite wrestler until Ultimate Warrior came out
-i developed an inner hatred for anything "Saudi Arabian" because of the Iron Shiek
-my little brother and i literally thought we were The Rockers so we would both drop double elbows off the top rope onto some pillows in the living room

two matches that i personally think are the greatest in WWE History is "Shawn Michaels vs Bret Hart" and "Ultimate Warrior vs Honkey Tonk Man".

Shawn Michaels vs Bret Hart's Iron Man match was crazy good - took a freaking hour HAHA !!!!

Ultimate Warrior vs Honkey Tonk Man lasted about 30 seconds - Ultimate Warrior ran to the ring, punched Honkey Tonk Man 3 times, fist pumped about 30 times and eventually pinned Honkey Tonk Man after his body splash...NEW INTERCONTINENTAL CHAMPION...it was all such a blur that i will never forget it lol....

......and, to this very day, anytime my little brother asks me any kind of random question, my response is always "Hulk Hogan vs The Ultimate Warrior"......

brother: "Carlos, how much did you pay for your car !?!?'
Me: "Hulk Hogan vs The Ultimate Warrior"

brother: "Carlos, i went to the Rangers came this weekend, guess who i saw"
Me: "Hulk Hogan vs The Ultimate Warrior"

brother: "Carlos, you cooking BBQ this weekend !??!"
Me: "of course, because Hulk Hogan vs The Ultimate Warrior"

the old WWF/WWE will always have a place in my heart, but this new shit makes me sick to my stomach.....

Ok...

I did go to a couple of WWF matches. Once when I was 14 or 15. Saw Andre the Giant get into his van outside the arena. Thing literally bottomed out when he got in.

The second time I was in my 20's and went with my dad just so I could say we did. It was kind of a joke then...

I liked the first Shawn Michaels match you said, but the other one I thought was one of the best matches I've seen was the Shawn Michaels vs Razor Ramon ladder match for the intercontinental title.

I wasn't old enough to remember Andre so much and a lot of the other 80's guys for that matter; I got into it when I was 10-15 which was in the 90's. Guys like Brett and Owen Hart, Yokozuna, Lex Luger, Sting, IRS Man, Diesel, DDP were the big names then.

It's definitely stupid to watch now, but it was cool to see some of the older guys and remember how cool I thought it was.

Shawn Michaels and Razor Ramon was a great brawl...

anyone else hate Mr. Perfect !?!?

oh, even though I didn't get into as much as I did in the late 80's/early 90's, Stone Cold Steve Austin's "Stunner Compilation Video" is still one of my favorite things to watch when I get bored HAHAHA !!!!!

Can't believe it! Did you see his speech that he gave on Monday Night RAW? Almost like he knew he was going to die.

I didn't see it in person, either...I just looked it up on youtube and it's on there. I know he was always a nutty speaker and hard to get a read on him, but he looked like crap in the clip.

I have to admit, back in the day I was a huge Sting fan, along with Kane and The Undertaker.

Wrestlemania for Super Nintendo was addicting, I have to add.
