the back and side dont do it justice. its just like every new style. takes a bit to get used to it but they look sexy in person. especially front the front. i was hating on it for a while but i think mainly cause it meant mine was gonna b old and no longer fresh.

Very nice. I have a very special place in my heart for blown V8s. Those Lightnings are great trucks, I can't imagine trying to get 610 ponies to ever hook up. Apologies for the thread-jack. Envy of another members toys.

I decided to go with the CLS63 because I figure the X5M is ///M enough and so here is the exact one I'll be getting! It's 1000 miles away in FL so I'll have to get it transported but it sure beats waiting six to eight weeks to have it built. It's exactly the way I wanted it too!

Nice choice. Here's a stock one running away from a TUNED C63.

i think M3 is betterlooking . and all the comparisons give the nod to the M3 and since i drive a M3 il have to go with the M3

Hmm. I just received their e-mail and the car doesn't have LSD (Limited Slip Differential) Does this make a huge difference in the way it drives in inclement weather? All this torque in rain or snow might make this car maybe unsafe(?) to drive in such weather and I've read that LSD helps control how much torque gets distributed so that it doesn't slide in wet or icy conditions.

Holy cow. It's got Parktronic which allows it to automatically park itself!

Here's the vid of how it does it. But really the only thing I care about in this car is the roar of its engine.

It'll be a lease and I'll count it as a business expense. In actuality I'll only be paying $200/month out of pocket.

So you're telling us at 22, you're buying a CLS63 to go with your X5M and paying for them both yourself? Sorry, but seems a little far fetched considering some of your other posts/threads.

Haha. I'm older than 22 good sir but that shouldn't mean I can't afford these cars. Have you heard of entrepreneurs? Yes, I'm one of those people that made web-sites for businesses in high school and college, worked (still help out) for the family business, sold real-estate and made proper investments. Haha, I'm borderline manic trying to always come up with ways to make money. This is why I love America!

Welcome to 2008 where Lexus introduced this tech in the LS.

In automatic mode I didn't really notice a difference except that the AMG felt more like a true auto as when you slowed down the torque converter didn't make it seem like it will stop too soon as is the case in the DCT. I really have to experiment more with both cars to give you a sensible review though. The CLS63 had a really awesome shifter that looked the same as the one from the SLS AMG which is almost a $300k car. Also the driving modes were Comfort, sport, sport plus, manual and RS which is for launch control I think. The car is beautiful with gadgets galore. I guess the CLS63 and M3 can be compared as a Bentley and Ferrari; the M3 is definitely more raw.
The CLS 63 doesn't have a torque converter. It has a wet clutch. What ya talking about Willis?

IMO anyone who even considers trading in an m3 for any Mercedes should stay away from the bmw brand all together. You don't deserve to be in an M car at all.

Although I too prefer BMW, to make a statement like this is ridiculous... who actually "deserves" to be in an M car Fanboyism at its best!!

OP... looks like a beast. The only thing I don't love is the color... a little on the old man side but who cares, it's a great car.

I'd have gotten it in black but I don't want another black car so I chose palladium silver, it kind of looks like space gray which I love.

Fanboy? Wow, havent heard that one before on this forum. Why not try and come up with some fresh terminology. Sheesh....

Ur either a passenger or a driver. If your a passenger then by all means buy Mercedes and stay away from bmw, especially the m3 and stick to posting threads in mercedes forums about which merc car gets more attention from women and which 22' rims would look better.
