E92 M3 Vs New M4 Visual comparison

Rather than asking which car you will prefer to buy or what engine you'd rather settle with, which car do you guys believe looks a lot better? The M4 or the current M3?

i think the M4 looks more updated. although i like the body shape of the E92 better. the new 4 series has a square body style that i am not taking a fancy for.

idk its kind of tough to say for sure. after i see the M4 in person at the detroit auto show it will give me a better idea. the front line of the hood also sucks on the new M4

So far the e92 but I'll reserve final judgement until I see an m4 in person.

Not sure about the M4 but I like the F80 M3 over the E9X generation, it just looks more aggressive with the shape and stance of it.

New M3 but I do think the front is a bit overwrought

Hard to say until I see it but from my impression after renting a 328 for two weeks and seeing several 4 series, I'm in no rush to get into one,

The M4 will have to add a significant amount more "special" to this series of car to make me change my mind.

David and I were able to get a hands on view of the M4 concept earlier this year and I can say this. Yes the M4 looks a lot more current then the e92M but it also IMO didn't take away from the e92M appeal to me if that makes any sense.

The M4 is stunning and I can not wait to get mine, but if I wasn't able to get a M4 I would still be VERY VERY happy with my e92M as far as style goes (the v8 is another BIG reason ). I really feel as though the e92M was one of the best looking cars I have owned so far. The M4 has some huge shoes to feel for my own personal taste but from what I saw and am seeing it should do just fine.

I think the new f8x looks WAY better. But wish the proportions were e9x size.

Damn, that would look awesome. An m4 in m3 sizing please.

Sorry, no chinese body kits wanted

M4 looks are growing on me. I prefer the cleaner e92 bumpers compared to the M4 concept car's busy design.

Current M3= Smaller but heavier.
Upcoming M3/4= Larger but lighter.
Hmmm, I think a smaller M3/4 would've been the sweet spot. I actually like the way it looks but not how big it is. Still reserving judgement overall until we get 'em on the street.

For those who currently own will most likely agree that the e92 is nicer. For those who dont currently own a e92 will most likely believe the m4 is nicer. Anything new already has its own attractive qualities. I'll have to say the m4 will look amazing once I see one driving on the streets, because of the fact that its something different.

IMHO I feel the current E92 M3 has a more masculine/aggressive stance that I love. Whereas the new M4 while nice seems to be less masculine & watered down in the looks department. Just my .02

Agreed. I'm slowly starting to love the M4. I was a skeptic, but it is really growing on me cosmetically. We're going to have to see how the car drives.

I love how the E92 M3 looks, especially with upgraded headlights, but the m4 is growing on me as well. I don't mind the new engine, just more fun with more gas mileage, however the V8 will be missed.

What? How?

They went way more aggressive in the new M3/4 than the E9x M3s.
