With the wheel on the car? I use those suction cup wall/window hangers you can get at target/walmart/etc. There's probably a better way, but those work fairly well for me.

thx, I'm going to a track day tomorrow and I wanted to remove them so the don't pop off on the track due to the heat, last time I went I think one of them was not perfectly snapped in and after a session I was checking my tire pressure and I heard a loud pop sound and saw the center cap was gone, I was lucky as it only landed a few feet away.
