You'll need to apply about a pound more pressure to get it started but once it starts closing it's just like stock. My sister has it installed on her car.
You can also adjust the stiffness too should you be inclined to. |

Trunk fully opens instead of being forced to grab it and open it. Great for when your hands are full or when your little one can open the trunk for you while your hands are full but the little one can't lift it open.
I like it cause if my hands are full I can still hit the button of the keyfob but don't want to scratch the paint with whatever is in my hands just to lift the trunk up.
