What I posted is the correct link. PSY24W and PY24W are interchangable.

The $45 kit would apply to the E9x rear LED turn signal conversion for the M3 models.

Mike/Luis, I think you guys would be better off renaming the thread something like "E9* PY24W LED Front Turn Signal Bulbs HAVE ARRIVED". Much better than something referencing poop and it would garner tons of attention.

Why would something that looks attractive (like LEDs) make you want to poop? That just sounds retarded.

Normally not at all a fan of white turn signals but these look pretty hot. I'm assuming now that this bulb is changed when your headlights (not DRL's/halos) are turned on like at night that ugly yellow orange bulb in the corner wont stay lit up orange instead it will be white correct?

It would also be helpful to see a DIY guide to gauge the difficulty of install

Great question Dillon. Not sure if your even talking about the little orange LED, would this get rid of that? Or would you still have to do the resistor mod to turn that bulb off?

None of the pics have the orange LED on, so Im hoping this fixes that too...

The little orange LED will still be turned on. You either have to remove the LED or cut the power to it.

As for the DIY, it won't be that hard. You remove the wheel well cover, then unscrew the turn signal socket. Replace the bulbs, and replace the socket and the cover. Most likely OSS will use a resistor to offset the extra power that the LEDs won't be using, and where he's going to put that, I have no idea.

He could conceivably put a resitor on the bulb socket itself, or on the turn signal wire leading into the control unit of the headlight. OSS, can you clarify this?

This is how I solved the orange LED issue:

Nope, no error whatsoever. Then again I had to bake open my headlights to do this.

The upper single amber LED can be disabled by anyone by just snipping a wire on the harness going to the back of the headlight...it gives no errors, as that's only there for DOT, Euro versions dont have it and the computer doesnt even know its there. I do it free of charge internally when I do the Angel setups, but if anyone wants to just knock it out, just PM me and I'll tell you what to snip...its not that serious and no need to open the headlight for it.

As far as the Corner LED and the resistor, I will be making a brand new thread specifically for the GB with all the info on these (no poop on the title...LMAAAOOOOoo)... It's a custom one off bulb, the resistor pack will just require tapping onto the connector behind the headlight, it's cake.

I could do the resistor for you guys behind the Bulb backing cap but then that will raise a flag when you go do corner delete on your own, rather just keep it simple and reversible.

keep you guys and gals posted

^ It sounds like you might need to be a vendor, not trying to be the Po Po, just keeping it fair.
