Exhaust tips !
Just recently purchased an 09 AW E92 bone stock and need to make it louder!
Ive read alot about the OEM exhaust mod but why not just run straight pipes to custom tips? So thats my plan.. My question is does anyone have recommendations for a good set of tips and sizes? |

I'd start with a classic OEM mod, maybe 4-pipe if you're certain you want it proper loud. Plenty to read about straight through/ACM mod which still keep some of the chambers to limit drone.

There are loads of muffler options which have very different sounds depending on what you want. Add in test pipes or an X pipe and its a whole other level to consider. |

Just a helpful suggestion... If you think you will someday want test pipes or a catless xpipe, start with that first before you modify your axle-back. You may find that removing the primary and/or secondary cats gives you the sound you're looking for with real hp gains and zero drone. If you modify your axle-back then decide to replace the xpipe, you may find it overwhelmingly loud.

Know a few people with muffler deletes, muffler delete and catless setup etc and it drones really really bad. Best setup in my opinion is oem muffler mod with test pipes.
