E92 and E90 coilovers are cross compatible, but the damper shaft size is larger on EDC models. If you want to use an EDC coilover on a non EDC car, you will need to purchase the upper mounts from BMW. They are not terribly expensive so for the price of these coilovers it may still be worth it for you.
