They are manufactured by OTTO FUCHS. They have a 30,000 TON press It is unsure what tonnage they use to make the BMW wheels but its most likely 8000T.

The OEM 19's are made by BMW OE wheel supplier FUCHS. (Germany)

Technically speaking, Fuchs was building forged aluminum wheels for many years before BBS even started.

For those old schoolers who are reading this (), YES...it's the same FUCHS that made the famous FOX wheel for Porsche in the 1960's and 70's.

i had the Dinan's on my E46 M3, i didn't realize what a light wheel could do to a car. i had Rad R10's on prior. after i put the Dinan's on not only was i able to go wider but they fit my Brembros better and the car handled so much better and that was saving about 5lb per wheel over the rad's. sure the rad's looked better but man did my car handle better with the dinans. i had same experience on my E39 M5 when i switched from the stock wheels to the BBS RS GT's which are also very light and strong

i do wish however Dinan made other designs. i may look at the NEEZ wheels as they have a nice design and i am lookin for a Black wheel this time and the Dinan is not all black.

Unbelievably strong wheels. I smacked a curb going sideways in an old 914. Tore the suspension all to hell. Wheel was straight. Just had some gouges from the concrete.

true, and none of the wheel manufacturers in this thread have Bauxite strip-mining and Hall-Héroult smelting facilities/capabilities either

I never said they use 5000-series aluminum when they claim 6000-series. I said they have used 5000-series before. HRE does not make the best wheels in the market. They make decent wheels. But as far as engineering, manufacturing technology and overall quality they have a long way to go my dear friend.

I`m a wheel manufacturer consultant and have very good knowledge regarding materials, manufacturing and quality of most (if not all) of the available forged wheels in the market.

Always wondered why you don't run a lighter wheel package. P40's look good, buy they aren't exactly the lightest wheel out there. Get some more of the stroker hp to the ground.
