Honeymoon ideas...
Where did some of you guys/girls go on your honeymoons? All-inclusive or not? My fiance and I aren't sure where we want to go. We'll be going the first week of September 2008, and from what I've read that could be sketchy trying to head to the Bahamas due to huricane season.
Anyways gimme some ideas and maybe the website you used to book. Maybe even someone could hook me up with a killer deal:rocks:? The sooner we book the cheaper as well, not that I'm cheap but who wants to blow more money cuz you were lazy and didn't book more in advance. Thanks, Garrett

We went to Italy, we reserved our first couple of nights in Rome before we got there but after that we pretty much did what we wanted to and made our reservations at internet cafe's through expedia. We took the train to Florence and stayed there for a night, decided we were over Florence so we hopped back on the train and went to Pisa and spent the night at a little beach town near Pisa. The next day we headed back to Rome for the rest of our stay. We enjoyed every minute of it and wouldn't change anything... Except for making a reservation at the Borghese gallery - I didn't get to see the Botticelli's

Sydney Australia, you will love it here!! We have a great city and would be ideal for a Honeymoon. From October we start a very hot summer so you will enjoy a nice layed back Aussie life here in our city or on our famous scenic beaches and harbour.

went to Cannes. Kind of ideally located if you can spend 2 weeks over there -- beaches, fun, private time, but also within driving distance to N Italy (Venice, Piza, Verona...), French Riviera (S Tropez...). You could also throw Paris in the combo...

Ah, nothing like Tahiti. Start saving though as you will need at least $20k for a seven (7) day stay.
Alternatively, Mauritius is just as good if you prefer these types of destinations.

Tahiti (bora bora and morea) is the perfect honeymoon destination. staying in secluded huts over the ocean is the coolest. being able to snorkle right outside your room is amazing. if you ever need more details pm and i can give you some more insights.

Hawaii seems the likely choice right now. Though I do really like the idea of Tahiti. What kind of insights? Spending less than 20k insights would be sweet

Which island in Hawaii are you planning to stay? Regardless, it will be more commercialized than you'd like.

Haven't really thought that far into it. I guess whichever will have fun things too (scuba, snorkel, clubs, dining) with the least amount of screaming kids and a little bit of privacy
