Mine has been siting at the docks for two weeks as well. My CA told me it takes two weeks to ship from Germany to the port in New Jersey. The M3's will sit there until March 8. My CA said the port is not allowed to release the M3's to the dealers until March 8.

I should have a march build....placed the order two weeks ago but my SA hasn't given me a production number so I'm not 100% sure.

Thats not true. They can ship the cars to the states to teh final proccessing centers. But the centers will hold the cars until march 7th and then send tehm to the dealers so they can release them on the 8th.

My dealership already has 2 on a boat headed this way. there is just a massive delay on shipping. Problem is dealers have a LARGE allocation to the 1 series and for instance mine has ordered a ton of them while there are only 5 m3 produced and shiped/waitign shipping there are 30 + 1 series shipped/waiting shipping.

we just have to wait in line

You don't have to pay it "up front" separately, it's added to the total purchase price.

If I have it Courtesy'd it will come in on the West Coast to Hueneme...I'm leaning this way.
