Setting general preset button to pull up Sat Presets

Hi All,

I've leafed through the manual and did a quick search here but was unable to find an answer.

I'm wondering if there is a way to set one of the 8 preset buttons (the ones located near the DVD navigation drive) to pull up the satellite radio preset list. I know I can set the button to pull up an individual satellite station, but ideally I would like to press a button and be able to see all the various presets so that I can easily flip through the various stations with the steering wheel controls. Right now I either have to fumble around from one station to another using idrive or just stay within that particular category.

Let me know if that is unclear. Thanks in advance!

Peter

I'm honestly confused as to whether you actually understand the issue in the post -- or if you just took one phrase out of context.

Peter, apparently people have been successful by power cycling the Sirius receiver. This can be accomplished by either pulling the fuse (glovebox) or power supply (trunk) and then re-inserting it again. You can read up further here and here.

Do you might be able to add the stations you want to your favorites list, then bring that up via one of the preset buttons.

Thank you both. I actually let the sat radio subscription expire so I can't try the recommendations listed -- but appreciate the posts nonetheless.
