Cover to prevent water splashing. Also it looks like it is funnelling air for cooling as well.

Apparently not anymore since they're using the same production line. A big part of getting an M was the fact that they were handbuilt for you.

look at that stance.. white is def the best color i cant wait! does this exhaust look restrictive to you guys? all these bends cant be good for air flow.. aftermarket companies are going to have a hard time making an exhaust for this.. yikes |

hopefully there are some inovative ideas about how to get it less restricted, atleast aftermarket will probebly be able to lose some weight from that area tho |

If I am not wrong from reading from somewhere, that exhaust design is for the proper exhaust pressure wave tuning. It is possible to cause a cylinder to draw in a greater amount of air/fuel than would be indicated by it's volume alone.

Did we all know that metal roof with sunroof would be an option if you don't want the CF roof? That makes everyone happy!

Handbuilding is overrated, IMHO. YOu get much more consistency being on a high tech line like they have at the BMW plants.

Absolutely
+1. It's like CNC machining vs. turning the dials by hand. How do you want your engine block manufactured? I certainly know how I want mine produced.
