Ah, until you pass the "Stang" in the corners... without some suspension mods they become rolling bricks in the corners. I have a friend with a 2007 GT500 who was following me through some back road slick corners and he mentioned that his GT500 just didn't feel stable enough to keep up. He plans on lowering the car and adding heavier Anti-sway bars in hopes to make it hold in the corners.

Still... that Mustang video looks like a hell of a fast ride going straight.

Yeah, those launches are bad ass.
Bingo!

Better hope those corners come up fast and often....lol....cuz if there is any kind of significant straight away....cornering won't matter cuz you'll be that far behind....lol.

I can imagine what they'll say.

"It's just a Ford"
"My interior is so much better"
"My parents are richer than yours"

Those launches looked intense. He almost lost it on that first one.

I thought that was just one launch from 3 different angles. Was fun to watch the berserk acceleration though. Good to see a stang with some traction although tires were still spinnin a bit.

Regular mustangs are pretty bland but the shelbys look good. But I can't help but consider it overpriced as it's in M3 territory. But I like the look and it's lack of ability in corners is over-exaggerated. Then there is the somewhat lacking interior, although immensely improved recently.

Still a cool car in my book.

Not so for 2011. The new mustang GT is tracking on par with the M3 in the latest tests.

Man so much snobbery in this thread tied to lack of research and knowledge.........go E90POST!

exactly. i actually like this bodystyle and wouldn't mind owning a cobra or something along those lines, but am leery because of how littered the road will be with mustangs

As opposed to SoCal where every other car is 3er or C-class.

That's what I was thinking. The 2011 is a completely different animal.
