What do you plan on getting after the e90/e92?

Just curious, are you guys waiting for e82 m3/m4 or moving to something else.

I would like to hear some options/opinions etc.

for me i think it'll most likely be a P car....Really all depends on where i am financially 2-3 years down the road though. A 458 Ferrari would certainly do it for me if money wasn't an issue. And if my IS300's motor ever blows which is my DD, i think i'll consider an Evo as a replacement for that. But i personally dont intend on getting rid of my M3... i'll always keep it as my toy car... will just SC it and mod it endlessly over time....

No more M3s for me after this, 4 is quite enough
I'm not paying M3 money for a souped up 335
This is my next car, hopefully
Half the power of the e92 M3, but also half the weight, similar performance

I saw a Model S on the road yesterday, incredible... I really want one. But, sports car wise... still setting my eyes out for that V10 R8.

I am toying with getting a f10M5 right now. just not sure if its the right fit for me due to the size. A tad large for me

If I dont go m5 I will just hold on to my m3 till next gen comes out.

i got my wife the 35i X3
and trust me that thing is fast!
based on bmwusa specs
the 0-60 time difference between them is only 0.8 seconds
M3 is 4.7 (manual)
X3 is 5.5s
it's a very nice car
just wish the suspension was a little firmer
and that stupid variable rate steering i despise
it switches the steering ratio in mid corner
who's dumbass idea was that?

+1, I don't ever plan on selling the M unless BMW goes back to its routes one day and gives us another NA engine. With-in 2 years I plan on putting a S85 V10 SC under the hood.

As far as next car goes, definitely going to be a Cayenne Turbo S, the newer one though (hate the old model). Or if the new X5M's are out by the middle of 2014 then I'll wait for that.

phew great mod! hell of a project i assume! good luck with that! Cayenne Turbo S is my fav. truck... but not the new body style, the previous one! If i ever need a truck it'll be between that and the X5M

You quoted me while I was changing my post. X5M is definitely a contender.

It is a hell of a project and I won't be able to keep DCT unfortunately BUT 6 speed will be a blast and I've seen this done somewhere so it's not impossible either. (less I was dreaming..) Thanks!

the M3 is our "family car" so I'd need to replace it with something that can do that job. current plan is to keep the M3 for a long time (it's only a year old now) and then when Porsche finally redesigns all of the ugly out of the Panamera, I'd get that
