Rim repair - NY area

Guys,

Apologies for the double post - I have this on the NY forums as well but just thought I would run this by the general forum for ideas.

I just curbed my rear right this past weekend. It really hurt . Had a lady in the SUV decide she needed to drive on the middle of the road turning out of my development - did not realize the curb jutted out onto the road (about 6 inches - but ZCPs are not forgiving).

Do you folks know of a good rim repair place in the NY/NJ area? I do have tire/rim insurance but it might not cover rim rash.

Really appreciate the help.

Regards

There is proformance in new rochelle. They do great work, but a lot of shops won't repair oem 19s because of the hard to replicate finish.

Call and see what they say. Ask for George the owner.

I hope I can find one who will because I have exactly the same issue on 2 of mine (RHS) - had to move over to avoid an accident and ... <scrrrrrapppe>

Guys,

I found a guy in Orange County, NY who does a decent job. If you guys are looking for someone in the neighborhood reach out to Manny at Rims Like New in Middletown (NY). He can be reached at (845) 537-0396.

I had Nick from his team drop by and fix the rim at home.

Thanks

Sadly my dealer never called me back. Luckily the guy I found does the rim work for most exotic dealerships in the area.

Loved the work.
