The lime rock editions arent selling. I live in CT where the lime rock track is so you would think they would move... nope. Every local BMW dealer to me has one and noone is buying them. Those cars have been there for over a month.

Its winter.. and like someone else said.. its Orange. While its nice.. not everyone wants to stand out like a soar thumb.

I just today ordered a brand new 2013 M3 with a build date in January. I ordered interlogos blue, comp package, nav, black leather with a sunroof. I know what i want and its not orange lol

Seattle area is a different market.....all are sold in the Pacific NW.

As a side note....

I owned a factory '69 427 Yenko Chevelle from new....friend built an excellent clone- ground up.

When the day came to sell, well you figure it out.

BTW it's "sore" not soar

We sold ours @ MSRP. I'm guessing our Frozen White "Frozen" Edition will go for the same.

Ours should be arriving any day now. If anyone wants to know how it's equipped let me know, still available (but hasn't been advertised either).

Sorry if noob question, but fair question. What is the shipping mode? Do they lift for transport and then drop at VPC/dealer?

And I forgot to add, the LRP edition is so sexy and sounds so right. The only problem I see with it is "20 years". I wish I was 23 and not 43.
This is the car of my dreams at 20 years old. Now I'm 43 (with kids) and I am not the target customer anymore. Still, I LOVE THIS CAR. Respect to owners despite what others might say.

There are spacers installed in the suspension; or something along those lines, car sits higher to prevent damage loading and unloading in containers and carriers.

I don't see how this color is something only for younger folks. I'm 25, my car is imola yellow so maybe I'm biased but I always see older folks cruising around in their orange and lime green gallardos and GT3RS 911s. If you like the color that's all that matters, who cares what others think

FWIW

As of 12/10/12 on Cars.com & Auto Trader under "new car inventory" there's less than 30 nationally still for sale.

But they've only produced about 100 out of the 200 they intend to put on the street.

100 yet to be born.

You can make that 31 since we just received ours. Ours has black Novillo extended leather, competition package, cold weather package, premium package, M double clutch transmission, carbon Leather interior trim, sat radio, BMW apps, navigation, and enhanced premium sound.

Thanks for the answer on the suspension.

FWIW, it's not really what others think. I used to love the attention in my 20's, but I guess I grew up to be more of a low profile guy (a space gray guy). So the type of car I like for me is kinda low profile as well. Still, I do appreciate the fire orange, the speed yellow and the dakar yellow (not so much the java green, or the brown, or the golden/champagne colored).

Yes many still out there but from what I have noticed, many dealers don't list inventory on Cars.com or Autotrader, so my guess is you could double that number for what is not listed. I've found its hit or miss.
From what I can tell so far cars in the midwest are sitting due to weather, at least thats what I have been told.

I can understand where your coming from. My dd I prefer black/white/gray and I like exuberant colors for the weekend toy

I will say, I've been eyeing up an f30 Estoril blue for my next dd lol.
