LMB E92 Comp Pack Detailed
Hola,
I got my E92 detailed over the weekend. Guy took some pics with the DSLR and I thought I would share. I'm thinking of getting my wheels PC black but I cannot decide. Opinions? Edit: Oops I forgot the full body shot.. Cheers Last edited by dmk08; 07-28-2014 at 01:27 PM.. |

I'm a big fan of darker wheels on blue E92 M3's, check out my garage for pictures.

I think some darker wheels would look GREAT on this car, Black or even gunmetal/anthracite might look awesome

I was going to just buy a second set of ZCP GTS wheels but I'm not sure I like the Satin/Matte black vs a nice gloss black. I love the silver too but I get a lot of peer pressure to make these black or replace them with dark wheels.

I would def not pain the wheels! I love dark cars with light silver wheels. I wasn't a big fan of playing the spacer game (mainly from all the vibration issues I'd dealt with in the past) but I must admit they make the look of our cars. I ended up with 18 front and 12.5 rear.

Leave the wheels alone, black wheels will constantly look dirty and at a distance it has a tendency of looking like you're running a set of spares, esp. to the untrained eye.
I'd do spacers before anything else IMO. Hub centric spacers don't normally affect ride quality.

Maybe I will try some TMS spacers. I heard they were better. I wanted them in the first place but they were sold out and Turner 'upgraded' me to H&R for free. It's the only thing stopping me from ordering 2 more rear wheels and doing a 275 square setup. Pretty sure that would require at least a 10mm spacer up front as I'm running KW V3. |
