If I was going to put a s/c on a V8 M3 I'd agree.
Let the sound of the beautiful V8 come through (with a small s/c whine) not the ricer sound of a blow off valve like an EVO, STI or F/I Honda Civic.

AA please post up some more info. I'd love to learn more about the setup you guys got going. How much boost can you add to this engine since it already has such high compression? How do you expect it to impact the life of the engine?

Good question. My guess and its only a guess is that boost must be somewhere around 0.32 BAR. As long as there is proper cooling my feeling is that this engine can take that. The real question is just how efficient the cooling and all the system is and how much of that boost is turned to power. I´d say around 70% (also a guess). Life of the engine is a tough question, in other FI cars that I have owned, they have gone for every even after a sell them with no problems. My honest opinion is that if your not going to keep the car for 10 years, then you shouldn´t worry about it. lol! Just my 5%.

Another question that I would like answered is how much weight does this kit add to the front of the car.

I am too lazy to search but as long as the stock internal are forged you should have no issues boosting this motor....

Reliability is always in the tune.. i.e a custom tune for each individual car, not a blanket ecu re flash common to all..

Again good job to AA for the effort put into this.

Now send me my freaking exhaust tip...LOL!!

Impressive. Can't wait to see the numbers.

Can we get a video or audio clip from outside idling and at low RPM's? I want to hear it whine.

Just out of curiosity how much does a thing like this go for?
I'm not asking for exact pricing but just a rough idea... Maybe basing yourselves on previous kits...
I'm asking because i'm completely clueless in regards to SC kits and i want to know if we're looking at spending around 2-3 thousand $ or more like 10,000$ +
Any insight would be appreciated...
